Mariah Walton BIO:
Mariah Walton serves as the City Manager for the City of Eastpointe since April 2020 and previously held roles including Acting City Manager, Assistant City Manager, and Assistant to the City Manager in Human Resources and Purchasing.
Prior experience includes serving as Circuit Court Clerk for Kent County from March 2016 to April 2020 and working as a Foster Care Case Manager at Wellspring Lutheran Services from March 2015 to March 2016.
Mariah began their career as a Youth Service Specialist at Peckham, Inc. from March 2012 to March 2015.
Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Administration from Grand Valley State University (2016-2018) and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Sociology from Michigan State University (2010-2014).
