I wrote a book!

I read the article she challenged me to write aloud, and was surprised by her response, “This won’t work for the article, because it is the first chapter of your book!”. In the end, my marketing coach challenged me to write a book! Not one to shy away from a challenge, I got to work. When inspired, I grounded myself, got vulnerable, and let the words flow out. The time I was definitely not grounded, I labored over 4,000 words and lost them in a “forgot to save” moment…coincidence? I doubt it. Two hundred and seventy-four pages later, the article became a book.

As the concept was unfolding, I literally saw the light! Three specific and inspiring light sources, each heading up a main section of the book, motivate the reader to enter a new phase of “the light switch” (or transformation). Hopefully that includes you! The first section (the heaviest section) sets up the learning with models and theories. The second section (the most revealing section) looks inward, helps the reader unravel and get rid of limiting beliefs as well as shed light on how people get in their own way . And, the third section (the deepest section) is the answer—how leaders get out of their own way and operate from their core of goodness, shining light and be-ing their best self.

The techniques outlined in the book are a product of my client work and serve as an introduction, a transformational workbook, or a leadership refresh to BE-ing the best leader/version of you, whatever your preference.

Amazing leaders are grounded, centered, their best selves, of character, energetically clean, connected, servant leaders, confident, profitable, and trusted by all. These are the characteristics of BE-ing, and go hand-in-hand with great leadership.

I was very happy and excited the book published Christmas Eve 2021 (like at 11:45 p.m.!), and so I soft-launched it January 2022 (thank-you to all the people who were quick to order and/or send me a message!). I am working on/recording an audiobook (stay tuned …thank-you for your requests and encouragement!), plan to refresh my website, and (hopefully) am anticipating a “hard launch” late 2022.
